Riding

Riding (Ride) is a skill.
It indicates the character's proficiency at handling a steed.

Evolution

The Ride skill starts somewhat higher with Nobility and Wealthy Urban Family family backgrounds.
The occupations that increase the skill well are: Knight, Captain, Manorial Lord, Noble Heir, Courtier, Travelling Merchant, Bandit, Schulz, Veteran.
In-game, it can only be improved permanently through certain events (see below). It cannot be learned from a tutor, and cannot decrease.
